CICERO CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Cicero Christian Church was established 25 miles north of Indianapolis in 1837 as a part of the Restoration Movement, an independent collection of disciples who desire to take a simple Gospel into a complicated world.
Through the highs and lows of many decades, CCC has been a steady presence in our community, more recently building a strong reputation for generosity and service inside and outside the church family.
Our mission is to invite everyone to life with Jesus. We long to live Jesus-centered lives in community with other disciples as we care for, connect with and challenge each other. We believe that a Jesus-centered community treats outsiders like insiders and pushes back darkness with the light and love of Christ. We diligently seek to grow as servant leaders who are self-fed, spirit-led, relationally intelligent and courageous.
We invest heavily in church planting because 1) We can. We have the resources to do so, which means we have the responsibility to do so. 2) We are convinced that new churches reach people who are far from God that existing churches struggle to reach. God’s mission for our church is His mission for The Church, so we cannot limit our contribution to our own community, but must extend our generosity to other communities as well.
